Description

Aphylla theodorina is a species of dragonfly in the family Gomphidae, suborder true dragonflies (Anisoptera). The species is on the IUCN Red List as Least Concern, Assessment Year 2007. The scientific name of the species was first validly published in 1933 by Navás Aphylla is a widespread Neotropical genus of dragonflies of the Gomphidae family. They are commonly known as the greater forceptails because of their forceps-like cerci.
