Talang queenfish

Description

This species is broadly distributed in the Indo-West Pacific,from South Africa to the Red Sea and the Persian Gulf,east to Papua New Guinea (Smith-Vaniz 1984) and New Caledonia (R.Myers pers.comm.2016),north to southern Japan,south to Western Australia,New South Wales (Randall 1995).It is found at depths of 15 to 30 m (R.Myers,unpublished data).
