Channa stewartii

Description

Channa stewartii is a species of the genus Channa under Channidae family which is native to Nepal and Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Tripura. It may also be found in Bangladesh. This fish is mostly found in the freshwater hill streams. It is of little food value but common in the aquarium trade.
