Phelsuma heelscheri is a lizard from the suborder geckos and the genus of the Madagascar day geckos ( Phelsuma ).The species was first scientifically described by Rösler,Obst & Seipp in 2001.Phelsuma heelscheri is endemic in parts of the African island of Madagascar,and only in the west.Phelsuma heelscheri reaches a headline length of up to 7.3 centimeters and a total body length including tail to 16 cm.The lizard has a brown green color and has a vague,streak-free pattern.The number of scales rows on the center of the body is 86 to 98.
