Istiophorus albicans (Latreille,1804) is a fish of the sea belongs to the family Istiophoridae.It is very similar to Istiophorus platypterus,of which it is sometimes considered a synonym.The body is elongated,the upper jaw forms a rostrum.The dorsal fin is very high.He lives up to 4 years;the maximum length is 315 cm,even if it usually does not exceed 240.This fish can reach,in a shot,around 112 km / h,winning the primacy of the fastest sea animal on earth.
