(Lepilemur ruficaudatus)
The red-tailed lepilemure ( Lepilemur ruficaudatus A.Grandidier,1867 ) is a species of endemic lemur from Madagascar.Measure up to 54 cm in length,of which up to 28 belong to the tail,for a weight of 0.8 / 0.9 kg.The hair of the dorsal area p grayish,with rust-colored shades on the front and back arms,shoulders and top of the skull.The tail is also red (hence the name of the species),while the ventral area is white: the mouth and the yellow eyes are rimmed in black.The ears are large,diamond- shaped and laterally attached to the skull.
