Description

The Siberian mosque ( Moschus moschiferus Linnaeus,1758 ) is a widespread mosque in the mountain forests of north-eastern Asia.It is quite common in the taiga of southern Siberia,but is also found in some regions of Mongolia,Inner Mongolia,Manchuria and the Korean Peninsula;a particular subspecies is present on the island of Sachalin.It has mainly nocturnal habits and moves only on short distances.
