Description
Body up to 20 cm long,cylindrical,tapered,compressed in the back;contiguous dorsal fins;teeth arranged as in the Lampetra fluviatilis,but smaller and obtuse.The adult specimens have a gray-green color with bluish reflections on the back,pale yellow on the sides and white on the belly.
