Asian giant softshell turtle

Description

It is a species of large size,so much so that the carapace can reach a length of 1000 mm.This is flattened and round in shape,with a smooth surface in adults and rough in the immature (due to the presence of tubercles,a characteristic that distinguishes the young of this species from those of the other two species of Pelochelys,where they are completely absent).
