Terminalia ulexoides is a dicotyledonous plant species described by Joseph Marie Henry Alfred Perrier de la Bâthie . Terminalia ulexoides are included in the genus Terminalia and the family Combretaceae . In addition to the nominate form, there is also the subspecies T. u. Aculeata . Terminalia is a genus of large trees of the flowering plant family Combretaceae, comprising around 100 species distributed in tropical regions of the world. This genus gets its name from Latin terminus, referring to the fact that the leaves appear at the very tips of the shoots.
