Nesaea

Description

Nesaea is a genus with 107 species of flowering plants belonging to the Lythraceae family. It is originally from East Africa . It was described by Philibert Commerson ex Antoine-Laurent de Jussieu and published in Nova Genera et Species Plantarum (folio ed.) 6: 151 in the year 1823. The type species is Nesaea triflora ( Lf ) Kunth.
