Ficus obtusifolia is a species of tree in the family Moraceae. It is found in North and South America. It ranges in size from a small to a large tree with a broad crown; it usually grows 8 - 25 metres tall, with occasional specimens as much as 45 metres tall. The bole of larger trees can be 180cm in diameter The edible fruit is sometimes gathered from the wild for local use.
