(Ivesia arizonica)
Ivesia arizonica is a rose plant species that was first described by Alice Eastwood and John Thomas Howell, and got its current name from B. Ertter. Ivesia arizonica is part of the genus Ivesia and the rose family. In addition to the nominate form, there is also the subspecies I. a. Saxosa. Ivesia is a genus of flowering plants in the rose family known generally as mousetails. They are perennial herbs native to western North America, especially the western United States. Plants of this genus are sometimes treated as members of genus Potentilla.
