Description

Rhodotypos scandens is the only way the plant genus Rhodotypos and belongs to the subfamily of spiraeoideae within the family of the rose family (Rosaceae). It occurs in China, Japan (only Western Honshu) and Korea. It is used as an ornamental plant and is called White Rosenkerry , Schneekerrie , Climbing Scheinkerrie , Scheinkerrie or Kaimanstrauch .
