Description

Small Orthothecium Intricatum ( Orthothecium Intricatum ) is a leaf species described by WP Schimper in BSG 1851. According to the Catalog of Life, Little Glossy Moss is included in the genus Mussel family and the Hypnaceae family, but according to Dyntaxa, the belonging is instead the genus Mussel and the Plagiotheciaceae family. According to the Finnish Red List, the species is closely threatened in Finland. The species is reproducingin Sweden. The habitat of the species is clay and lime fractures. No subspecies are listed in the Catalog of Life.
